The Site

Your Shangri-La consists of 2.44 acres (1 Hectare) just 1000 meters (.62 miles) down a maintained county road from the sleepy and friendly village of Pocri. What was once cattle land is now a beautiful blend of tropical flora including native shrubs and trees as well as many fruit trees like Bananas, Guavas, Platanos, Pineapples, Mangoes, Papayas, Guanabana (Soursop), Marañón (the cashew) and more.

Near to the frontage is a cool, palm covered “Rancho” (pulapa) where you can barbeque and  entertain a few friends avoiding the direct and, at times, intense summer sun. The lower portion of the property has been cross-fenced and left undeveloped, but available for an additional building site or for agricultural use.

Sitting upon a high point with  ocean views (watch for large shipping vessels and cruise ships heading to or from the Panama Canal!), is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath, pueblo-style home. With approximately 920 square feet of living space and another 110 square feet of terrace, cool breezes and even COOLER views surround you. Sounds of parrots, parakeets, quail, and many other tropical birds comfort the nerves.
